Robroyston Church is a great church for families. Children aren't equipped to process information or understand concepts in the same way as adults, and as a result they often find it difficult to sit through a conventional church service. But church needn't be a boring experience. Each week our volunteer leaders deliver a fun-packed learning program specifically tailored for children at different stages of development.
During our Sunday morning service we operate a crèche staffed by caring and trustworthy volunteers. But our crèche is more than just a baby-sitting service – there are toys for all ages, we read Bible stories, play songs with shakers and instruments, and the toddlers can even get stuck into arts & crafts.
Our older children read a bible story and have a short time of questions and discussion. Arts & crafts and games relating to the theme help our children to learn in a fun and engaging way.
Our youth church begin their service with games and challenges but join the rest of the congregation for a time of praise and worship. Always on the move, they head into the café to watch the Bible message on the video feed where they have the freedom to ask questions and discuss the teaching.
There is nothing more important to us than the safety of your child. Before working with young people our volunteer leaders are required to undergo a PVG Scheme check from Disclosure Scotland. All our children's work is done in accordance with the safeguarding policy of the Church of Scotland. For more information contact our safeguarding coordinator.
