Meet our Leaders

The direction of Robroyston Church is determined by our leadership which comprises our minister and a number of committed volunteers.

Our leaders meet regularly throughout the year to discuss progress and make strategic ministry decisions.

Phil Woodley
Phil was born in Dundee but has lived in Glasgow for the past 6 years and teaches Physical Education at a local secondary school. He is married to Kirsty and has a young son, Jonathan, and a baby daughter, Hannah. Phil grew up attending an evangelical Church of Scotland and has been a member of Robroyston Church since January 2011.
Douglas Eskdale
I live locally in Stepps and have attended Robroyston Church of Scotland since 2010. With an instrumentation / engineering background I have worked in Africa (1971-74) and I lectured in Civil Engineering at University of West of Scotland (1993-99). As a church minster with the Free Methodist Church for 17 years I served as a schools chaplain in Cadder, Summerston and Whiteinch primary schools. I have been involved in IT since the 1990's and I am currently a development director with a compliance software development company. As an older member of the leadership team I aim to be approachable and encouraging with a listening ear. My personal ministry focus within the church is to encourage practical Christianity among adults and youth.
